THE WATTBIKE HUB APP IS UPDATED TO INCLUDE THREE MOUNTAINS FROM THE GIRO D’ITALIA
Available until the end of October 2020, the peaks include the Madonna Di Campiglio, Passo Castrin/Hofmanjoch, and most notably the Col D’Izoard. All three of these climbs feature in the final week of this year’s Giro d’Italia, and will test a riders grit and determination. Can you beat your friends up the climb, or rival the pros?
Stage 17 Madonna di Campiglio
Stage 17 features a summit finish atop the impressive Madonna di Campiglio, a 9.4km climb at an average gradient of 6.7%. A very steep opening 200m makes way for a manageable climb to the peak.
Stage 18 Passo Castrin
The Passo Castrin features heavily in the monumental Stage 18, in which riders will race over 207km and 5,400m of elevation gain. This climb averages at over 9% for 8.6km, with plenty of switchbacks to keep things interesting!
Stage 20 Col d’Izoard
A 14km monster climb, the Col d’Izoard features in a huge day of riding for Stage 20. This mountain pass averages 6.9% over the duration, topping out at 2,345m above sea level.
